The composition and lighting on this is dead on accurate. The blurring effects definitely convey blizzard conditions and the grey shaded background helps create a sense of cold, isolation and dread. The character's costume and make-up are amazing, especially the blackening frost-bite effects on the hands. The model is posed very well and I am impressed with the details of her appearance ,especially the facial make-up particularly the eyes. My only real grievance with this, is that I wish it was a full body study. Overall this is a great piece that really is quite evocative of the stark power of a Northern Winter.
